The Army Capt. Kevin C. Landeck Freedom Commissary Distribution Tops $220,000!

For the first time in its history, the MSHV Freedom Commissary has exceeded the $200,000 mark in goods distributed to veterans in need and their families!

None of this could have been accomplished without the support of our wonderful partners – thank you! While this number is significant, it unfortunately does not meet the needs that currently exist – and continue to grow by the day. That is why MSHV is undertaking the initiative to double the amount of goods distributed in 2024. That’s right, we are looking to raise $400,000 in funds and/or in-kind donations to expand the outreach of the Freedom Commissary.

As always, we appreciate any donation that finds its way through our doors each and every day. However, as you plan your participation in 2024, please consider the following:

· $40 will provide needed household and hygiene supplies for one veteran family for a single month

· $3,500 will provide bar soap for all veteran families in need for one year

· $37,000 will fund all of the Freedom Commissary’s needs for one month

There are many ways in which you can help. Please check the website under

or call the Freedom Commissary at 630.871.8387 x617 to better understand all the ways in which you can participate.
